Chris (known in China as XiaZhou) first captured our hearts last summer when he visited the White family in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee as part of a hosting program with China. The objective of the program is to help orphaned children like Chris find their forever families. Previously, the White family had adopted their son Sam from China. They had intended to serve merely as an advocate for Chris, but they grew to love him and knew that they were destined to be his forever family. Unfortunately, Chris had to return to China for several months while the legal side of the adoption took place… Yesterday, the White family returned to America, united with their son. Chris joins Sam and three beautiful girls Katelyn, Riley, and Gracyn. I was blessed with the opportunity to photograph this wonderful family during his stay last summer, and it was a great pleasure to document their reunion with close friends and family members at the airport yesterday.
